Such HA clusters consist of at least two identical servers that are connected in a way that all functions and applications are running simultaneously. If one system fails, the other system is able to continue operation without any interruption. If the defective system is again ready for operation, the servers are synchronizing automatically and continue parallel operation subsequently.
