MEGWARE assumes this responsibility and develops solutions which significantly cut
energy consumption, reduce the emission of carbon monoxide, and thus actively contribute
to the protection of the environment. All cluster systems, servers and workstations
from MEGWARE are designed to provide optimal energy efficiency at maximum performance.
This includes, among other things, the use of power saving computer components,
efficient cooling systems, and resource-saving air conditioning concepts for computing
centres. That our customers are saving a considerable amount of money through the
use of our products is much more than a minor secondary effect.
The total lifecycle of material-intensive IT devices from development and use up
to decommissioning ends with an environmentally favourable disposal. We offer you
our support for the disposal of obsolete IT systems or those which are no longer
needed. This also includes devices from other manufacturers, if required.
MEGWARE has registered with the Foundation „Elektro-Altgeräte Register“ (Waste Electric
Appliances Register) and complies with its legal take-back obligations.
