Establisment
The success story of MEGWARE has started for almost 30 years. What began with the production of computers in the garage of one of the company's founders on February 1, 1990, developed into a Europe-wide company for high performance computing and IT solutions.
MEGWARE develops, designs, manufactures and markets new-generation supercomputers. The most diverse sectors and industries rely on MEGWARE‘s customized concepts to meet their complex computing needs—from research institutes, the automotive industry and universities, to medicine and weather forecasting.
To date, MEGWARE commissioned numerous supercomputers across Europe, several of which have been included in the TOP500 list of the world’s most powerful HPC systems.
The service portfolio ranges from competent planning prior to purchase, through production and testing of the complete system to turnkey installation and the desired service and support. MEGWARE has implemented advanced ideas and designed products by outstanding in-house developments of hardware and software that help MEGWARE lead the way in the sector. For a quarter of a century, innovative products such as chassis, PDUs, direct on-chip liquid cooling or clustering management software have been developed.
