With a power density of up to 30 kW per 6U chassis, EUREKA redefines the meaning of high-density, high-performance computing. And despite the high power-density, EUREKA is by far our most energy-efficient platform to date: with its fully fan-less design, we ensure that every kilowatt in the system is spent solely on your workload instead of being wasted for pushing air.

And because we designed EUREKA for full ASHRAE W45 compliance, you may not only use energy-efficient chiller-free cooling but also re-use your excess heat for a variety of applications.

The modular MEGWARE HPC compute platform EUREKA has been developed for the installation of up to twelve CPU compute nodes or six accelerator nodes per chassis. This high packing density enables the installation of up to 84 compute nodes in a 42 U cabinet.

Based on a fully integrated design of hot-pluggable components, EUREKA supports even applications with high availability demands as individual node slots or power supply units can be autonomously swapped from the overall housing. With advanced central chassis monitoring and management features, EUREKA provides administrators with a flexible, yet easy to use interface to ensure operational stability and safety. Beyond its energy-efficient hardware design, EUREKA also supports the optimization of workloads with its thorough fine-grained power and energy monitoring capabilities.

EUREKA with AMD EPYC™ 9005 processors

EUREKA supports the latest 5th generation AMD EPYC™ 9005 series of high-performance processors designed for accelerating data center, HPC and cloud workloads and to provide leadership AI inference performance. With up to 192 cores per CPU, up to 512 MB of L3 cache and support for 12 DDR5-6400 memory channels, EPYC™ 9005 processors are ready to take on the most demanding computing challenges.

To support high-bandwidth and low-latency connectivity, EUREKA supports NVIDIA NDR InfiniBand and Cornelis CN5000 Omni-Path networks at 400Gbps link speeds. In addition, each node provides dual Gigabit on-board Ethernet connections and optional 10Gbps Ethernet using SFP+ or RJ45 connectors.

Due to an integrated switch backplane, EUREKA no longer requires intensive wiring to build a dedicated BMC and chassis management network because all management controllers in a chassis can now share a single link.

EUREKA builds on more than 15 years of experience at MEGWARE for designing, building and operating direct liquid cooled compute solutions. All mechanical components are made of high-quality, durable materials. Due to the integrated manifold system, EUREKA can be installed with minimal piping effort at the rack level. In line with industry standards, all hot-swappable components provide leak-free quick disconnects. With serviceability in mind, we have also designed EUREKA to support tool-less swapping of all field-replaceable components.
