At the beginning of August, MEGWARE delivered and installed at TU Chemnitz the liquid-cooled high-performance computing system for the KETEC research platform, which will be used in the future to research basic principles and techniques in the field of refrigeration and energy technology. The project team consists of TU Chemnitz, ILK Dresden and the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems ISE Freiburg.
The work within the framework of the research project are driven primarily by the requirements of climate protection and the energy revolution. In addition to the investigation of refrigerants and storage substances, the development of refrigeration machines, heat pumps, recoolers and heat and cold storage systems are planned.
