More information about the 2nd Generation AMD EPYC processors

The 7702, 7452 and 7402 CPUs of the AMD EPYC "Rome" processors are now also available in the MEGWARE benchmark center. With a memory bandwidth of more than 300GB/s (STREAM Triad Benchmark) and more than 3.3 TFLOPS (TOP500 LINPACK Benchmark) per server, the AMD 7702 nodes once again provide a significantly increased computing power for HPC applications compared to the previous version. Thanks to PCIe-Gen4, nodes with 200GBit/s Mellanox Infiniband HDR can be connected or the latest AMD Radeon Instinct MI50 GPUs with maximum PCI-Gen4 x16 bandwidth can exchange data between GPU and CPU.
