Stage 1 of the High Performance Computer for research successfully installed by MEGWARE

The equipped system with powerful Intel Xeon processors is characterized not only by its energy efficiency, but also by its excellent price / performance ratio and can also convince the users with rank 243 of the current Top500 list of the world's fastest HPC systems.
 
In the future the new supercomputer will process highly complex application problems for strategically important research areas of the Karslruher Institute of Technology, such as environment, energy, nanostructures/technologies and materials science with new orders of magnitude.
